Bryan Ferry's eighth solo album, Taxi, is now available to pre-order as a limited edition SDE exclusive blu-ray audio.

Originally released in 1993, the album sees Ferry continue in his rich vein of sophisticated and contemporary cover versions of classic rock, pop and soul songs, forging his reputation as the greatest living interpreter of the popular song.

Co-produced with Robin Trower, the album peaked at No 2 in the UK and contains the top 20 single 'I Put a Spell On You'. Two further singles - 'Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow' and 'Girl of My Best Friend' were released.

This region-free blu-ray audio features a Dolby Atmos Mix by Bob Clearmountain. It also includes a 5.1 Mix and the original 1993 mix in hi-res stereo.

The blu-ray is #64 in the ongoing SDE Surround Series and comes packaged in the same deluxe hardcover mediabook packaging used for the Roxy Music's Avalon and as ever, it ships with a free, collectible SDE Surround Series slipcase.

Dolby Atmos Mixes on blu-ray offer much higher quality than their streaming counterparts. They are not compressed as on streaming platforms. Encoded in Dolby TrueHD Atmos it has a bit rate 10 times higher (up to 8000 kbits/s) than streaming’s Dolby Digital Plus (768 kbits/s).
